This is a question not a comment. Wouldn’t the better play I’ve been for CGJ do you have downed it on the 1 yard line?

I presume you mean PJ Williams on the pick-6? It's debatable. The TD put the Saints up two scores, such that even a Minneapolis Miracle type moment would not have been enough to change the outcome. OTOH taking a knee would have ended the game because the Sucks couldn't stop the clock.

The one fear I had during the play was Williams possibly losing control of the ball. Taking a knee would have put an end to that.

Scoring generally doesn't change the outcome, but it has happened.


Only the FailClowns can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
