It could have happened but it didn’t. I can’t judge everything through the lens of what could have happened. If dude would have died I’m perfectly fine having a different conversation, but I still wouldn’t lose any respect for Kamara. That would have been an unintended consequence of their actions. We all know they weren’t hitting the man with intent to kill.

No, but we can conduct ourselvesthrough the lens of what could happen.

Re: Alvin Kamara Arrested

My disappointment in Kamara wasn't the initial dust-up, but AK et al chased the guy down and continued the assault...

That's why I'd be concerned for AK from both a personal and legal standpoint...

Sometimes we do. Sometimes we don’t. None of us are so perfect that we do everything by the book on the off chance that something bad could happen. Driving above the speed limit could be dangerous and result in the death of yourself and others, but I’m pretty sure we all creep over it from time to time. I come from places where people get jumped on all the time. Different lived experiences I guess.

I get they point you're trying to make but 35 in a 30 and chasing a man then pummeling him with your crew 'aint in the same ball park.

It just doesn’t bother me like that. Maybe I’m desensitized to violence, but I don’t even blink an eye at the situation. I watched people get jumped into gangs. I watched people get jumped in clubs. I watched people get jumped in locker rooms. It just doesn’t register as a big deal to me.

Re: Alvin Kamara Arrested

There are some here that think this behavior is not that big of a deal. But had that guy been their friend, family member or someone they know well, they'd have a different attitude.

I agree with some other posters here that the initial alteration wasn't a problem. It was how they chased him down and continued the beating after he was on the ground. And with all of them doing it, it comes off as cowardly.

I'm not saying the guy is some kind of saint. I'm just saying the chasing down and subsequent all out beat down 4 vs 1 was uncalled for. That's not justice and it shows a character flaw.

If AK had issue with this dude and the two of them went to throwing punches at each other on their own accord, that's one thing. But chasing him down and 4 vs 1? Nothing honorable about that. Nothing.

He’s not my friend. He’s not my family member. He’s not somebody I know. And he’s more than likely about to get a nice check. Had it been my friend, family member, or somebody I know I'm not running to the police about it. 🤷🏽*♂️

Re: Alvin Kamara Arrested

Touchy subject indeed. My gut feeling is Unless the guy was armed or
had done something serious (like a rape or a murder) then there isn’t much justification for multiple guys to do what was shown on the video to one guy.

I can appreciate that others see it differently. There are MANY factors at play. I’m gonna put my 10 foot pole away now.
