I can't see where we would trade him and we sure aren't cutting arguably the best WR in the game. Unless he takes his uni off mid-game and tosses it into the stands. But yeah, other than that...

I think you have to factor in the Bress factor. He never had a chance to show out with anyone else. But Brees made many receivers look great, that went on to mediocrity on other teams, for a number of reasons.

After the intial injury, I forget how many games he came back and how many receptions did he catch? Not the same Thomas, now he is just worried about that big payday he received and would like to keep it going. Saints can drive up his value for trade.

The worry is who would replace him?

MT put up above avg numbers when Brees was out for a month.

Taysom and Teddy were under center.

Yup. He averaged over 100 yards per game in 2019 in the five games with Teddy under center.
