Once the million dollar race horse gets out of line and says the wrong thing they have to be put down for their lack of appreciation. Rams aren’t trying to move Cooper Kupp. Chiefs aren’t trying to move Tyreek Hill. Packers don’t want to lose Davante Adams. But here are the Saints fans trying to move a top WR talent on a team that is deprived at that position and doesn’t have a QB. The QB whisperer is gone. You need all the talent you can get at these skill positions now. We aren’t about to scheme our way out of **** anymore.
Getting out of line is one thing. Ghosting the training staff and coach about an injury and costing yourself a season on the IR is something else. And for the record, Im upset about how he’s handled things but I’m not advocating a trade either.

I wouldn’t trust the Saints organization when it comes to managing an injury either. Delvin Breaux comes to mind.

Keyshawn spoke to that a while back in an interview I saw on the MT situation. He didn't call out the organization but he spoke to MTs career and long term future. If it were me I wouldn't never trust the team. Any team. Always get whatever they tell you verified.

Your response didn't really respond to these points "Ghosting the training staff and coach about an injury and costing yourself a season on the IR is something else."

I don't see that to say he should have let the Saints make all decisions on his health. I want and believe MT will come back but to say he did nothing out of line is a stretch. Even if he didn't want the Saints input on his recovery plan not answering your phone to your bosses... I wouldn't expect to keep my job if I did the same.

If the team has moved on from his "ghosting the training staff and coach about an injury and costing (himself) a season on the IR" then I have no problem with it either. I just want the Saints to win games and that's it. Of course those of us with jobs could very well lose them for what Thomas "didn't" do, but then again, we aren't NFL record setting WR's that would be the most impactful offensive player on the team either.

Yeah, you know that, I know that, and I'm pretty sure everybody on this site knows that. Doesn't mean it wasn't a d*ck move on MT's part. I said I wanted him back, that doesn't mean he doesn't need to make up for it.

What is it that you feel he needs to do to make it up to you? As long as the team and his teammates are cool now what does it matter what a few fans think about it? I'm sure what happened peeved some fans like you and others. As long as he comes back and balls out what else does he need to do? Would that "make up for it" for you?

I'm genuinely curious as to this. Not trying to be a jerk or anything of the like.

You don't have to try, you're natural born, or maybe your parents failed you...well, they definitely failed you. You probably passed it on to your kid.

If it doesn't matter what fans think, then why is there an entire industry called sports reporting? So other teams can follow your re-tweets to know what's going on around the league?

You are neither the judge nor the jury little man, you're just that, a little man with no opinion of his own who likes to use the internet to validate his ego. AKA:

"Ghosting the training staff and coach about an injury and costing yourself a season on the IR is something else." We were 1 win away from a playoff spot, the defense was healthy and really clicking, the O-line healthy... we could have done some damage. Having MT on the field at any point probably gives us that win or more.

Yeah, and be a good teammate without distractions.
