Pete Carmichael will stay on as the Saints offensive coordinator

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'm not putting Pete down - I believe he's capable. It's one thing to be OC when you have a Drew Brees. It's quite another if you don't. We shall see......

We already know you get your thoughts from tweets other people make. You don't have to post them here relentlessly.

Re: Pete Carmichael will stay on as the Saints offensive coordinator

I am glad they settled on Pete. With MT and focus on improvement of the Oline return of Jamis all sets up for a real look to the future of our offense. Itis sounding more likely that Kamara will be facing significant legal hurtles as LVPD and The Attorney General’s office is not mitigating but continue ti increase the level of charges. Time will tell but we might need to be knee deep in the running back draft.

I think Pete’s offensive game planning and game calling will be within the system that has been this teams offense during the SP years but will be game planned and call different.

Allen will have a roll in this and I think it’s a good thing … aggressive and strategic is how I’ve viewed him operate his defensive game planning and play calling and hopefully he bring some of that input to Pete and the offense.

Well, as our resident cap specialist (little speedo) has repeatedly advised us, the cap doesn't matter, and he knows all the accounting principles to be found on wikipedia. Therefore we should just go out and sign the two highest rated players available at the position and draft elsewhere.

Then again, we could sign Russell Wilson and an entirely new o-line as well as two or three of the highest rated vet WRs in the league.

Because, you know, the cap doesn't matter...

I'll be curious to see if Pete C adds another weapon at RB this off-season.

AK is gonna get the David Onyemata treatment & then some.

Agreed major. Don’t see how they can’t add a player or two in the backfield.

I'm definitely glad that we will follow the same format without blowing up the offense which has several weapons. Get healthy boys. There is a big year in front of us.
