Re: Why Jameis Winston is STILL Saints best QB option
I'd like to go with JW at starter, bring Teddy back (he should be pretty cheap I would think and knows the system), them and Taysom would be a good QB room.

Re: Why Jameis Winston is STILL Saints best QB option
Kind of makes sense. They need a Qb and their SB window is still wide open. Hes familiar with their system and knows a ton about us and we are their biggest threat in the division. He’s also got chemistry with Evans and Godwin. I doubt him and Arians are on the best of terms but winning can heal a lot of wounds. It’s unlikely yes, but like I said my mind wouldn’t be blown if it happens.

I think their SB "run" is over. They have quite a few free agents who will get paid ... elsewhere. JPP, Godwin, Suh, Fournette, OJ Howard, Ronald Jones etc. They can't keep em all. |

Re: Why Jameis Winston is STILL Saints best QB option
I'd gladly take Winston, believe he's deserved the opportunity, unless something happens (us picking up another vet starter) via Free Agency, which I doubt. But I do believe he will have some options.

Re: Why Jameis Winston is STILL Saints best QB option
I believe he'll have options, too, but he's still in somewhat of a "prove it" situation, just like last season, coming off the injury. There's not a better place for him to "prove it" than in New Orleans with much of the same offense using the same terminology and with teammates with which he has already developed some rapport. The Saints have a huge edge on bringing him back versus other franchises.
