Does anyone else think that a starting WR returning punts is a bad idea? I mean, he goes out, returns the punt - gets clocked - then immediately has to line up for first down? His speed does bring an interesting element, but on the other hand couldn't Stecker return the punts too?

Yeah, it's a concern. I guess this is one of the reasons they signed Nate Poole. Stecker makes more sense to me - he's run one back for a TD before, so he definitely has the ability.

I'm a little concerned about Stallworth at PR too. The guy has the speed, but if he gets hurt...we are in trouble. I like the Nate Poole signing, though. The guy did pretty good in pre-season and camp. I wish they would bring Talman back too. We could use him now that Lewis is out. I think all those guys on the injury report will be in...except Mier. Maybe Brown.
I REALLY hope Brown can play...if not I'll take Freddy over Craft. Of course, I would take Sully over Craft at this point. Speaking of the guy, how is Sully doing so far? |
