I asked this of Major, but what do you think, who have we missed out on that we should have signed so far?

Though he wasn’t a FA we could of possibly traded for Woods though not likely since it’s in the same conference but I would of tried my damnedest. For FA JuJu, Barrios, Z. Jones, Pringle, MVS are some. Did they overpay for some, yes but sometimes you gotta spend money to make money. Oh, I’ll say this to I’m giving them a chance but if they strike out in FA and not draft a receiver in the first two rounds. I’m going to be on the fire Allen and Loomis train. If we didn’t try to get a guy that wasn’t coming here in the first place we could of paid MW not get Dirty Dan

Sometimes… You have to crush your enemies where they live!!!

What is your definition of “a lot” available?

Jones is OLD and BRITTLE, Watkins is a walking injury in waiting (see Jones) , Sanu is downgrade from Trequan, OBJ is recovering from yet another torn ACL & won’t be ready until late October , Sanders and Amendola will be 36 at the start of the season . Goodwin caught a blistering total of 20 passes in 2021.

95% of the guys you mentioned can’t help us at WR. The only guys I see worth a damn is Landry & slot guy Humphreys but the Saints won’t call. Trequan is a good blocker so he’ll get the nod .

No more participation trophies. It’s time to compete.

You need a MINIMUM of 3 legit WRs to have a chance in late January.

But again, I’m just a couch coach.
I agree completely that we need that same three WR's. Who could we or should we have already signed?

Puzzling signing - Is Malcolm Jenkins on the move? retiring?

Has Marcus Maye had some regression in his rehab from Achilles Tendon Sx?

Is J.T. Gray being moved?

Is this leverage against P.J. Williams asking for too much coin?

Is he being moved to a rover LBer?

Woods is coming off a season ending injury. That would match our free agent M.O.

I think he will retire before training camp starts.

Well what’s one more? At least he’d be back before mid season and the guy is good

To the point about taxes - is the NFL the same as the NHL when it comes to players paying taxes?

In the NHL players pay taxes based on in which state they play games in, which means they pay a fixed tax rate for all of their home games, and a variable rate for all of their away games.

It used to be a hot topic among the Canadien teams that they were unfairly competing with teams from states like Florida. Then someone did the calculations, and the earnings difference was actually very small between signing with a high tax state team and a low tax state team.

This is true. But it's something that the the players see as real. They talk about it as a factor all the time.
