Re: Saints lose a great fan today.
Sorry for your loss Boston. Unfortunately I understand all too well. My Dad passed away this past December after a brief fight with colon cancer. I know he's in heaven now reaping the rewards of a life well lived in service to the Lord, and I'm comforted by that. I'm sure the same goes for you with your Mom. The pain will dull, but you'll probably find yourself missing her more and more as time goes by. I was just telling my wife today about how much more I miss my Dad now compared to the days and weeks right after he died. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. One of the most comforting things anyone has told me came from my sweet wife. She reminded me that just because he isn't here anymore doesn't mean that he doesn't still love me, or that he can't still feel my love for him. I tell my Dad I love him everyday, and I feel the reciprocal warmth of his love for me. I hope it brings you some comfort to know that the same applies to you and your Mom. Take care my friend.
