Im guessing the answer will be yes, but Did your mom TALK like New Orleans?
I love the way New Orleans people talk.

May mom rest in Saintly Peace

She will never have to worry about Roger Goodell being where she's made it to, I'm sure she was a great lady.

Hang in there brother

Re: Saints lose a great fan today.

So, the Mass for mom and reception was today. Nice to have family in from so far away. I got to read a passage at the mass:

A reading from the Letter of Saint Paul to the Romans

Brothers and sisters:
Are you unaware that we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
We were indeed buried with him through baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead
by the glory of the Father,
we too might live in newness of life.
For if we have grown into union with him through a death like his, we shall also be united with him in the resurrection.
We know that our old self was crucified with him, so that our sinful body might be done away with, that we might no longer be in slavery to sin.
For a dead person has been absolved from sin. If, then, we have died with Christ,
we believe that we shall also live with him.
We know that Christ, raised from the dead, dies no more; death no longer has power over him.

The word of the Lord.

You think you know, but you don’t know...and you never will! Coach Jim Mora

Re: Saints lose a great fan today.

Hey all. Gonna revisit the thread and relay another quick story about my mom and aunt. My Aunt June said at my Mom’s memorial that, although they were identical in appearance, they had a key difference; Mom was smarter and June was a better athlete. In fact when they were in highschool my Mom took June’s math final and June took my Mom’s swimming requirement to graduate!

They both loved the Saints and cooked a mean gumbo! (Mom’s was better).
