Still missed fewer games than Thomas over the last two seasons. And I said over his career.

Thomas had an ankle injury that could happen to any player. Jones' recent history, as documented excellently by saintsfan1976, shows signs of chronic hamstring issues which have sidetracked many a career. Surgery can fix ankle issues. Hamstring issues have more to do with an individual's physiology.

Regardless, you have shared your opinion on Jones. That's fine. You can have him. Hard no for me, however ... on multiple levels.

But, for the record, here is Julio Jones' expanded injury history.

And you say that I like to argue with YOU??!! LOL, you have the emotional maturity of a child.

They other day you jumped on a user for saying he had doubts about Thomas’s ability to come back from injury and bragged about being an optimistic person. But now that it doesn’t suit your argument, you are saying you have doubts about Jones coming back from injury (even though he played in his team’s last game) and are being a pessimist. That’s called hypocrisy.

Did Jones finish playing last season? Yes! Did Thomas? No!
Number of games missed since the start of 2020 for Thomas..26. Number missed for Julio…14. So your post is meaningless to my points. My example of a guy who has a history of injury would be Davenport; a guy who has NEVER played a full season worth of games due to injury. Julio doesn’t fit that description at all.

You can put any spin on it you want about how an ankle injury can happen to anyone, but so what? A hamstring or achilles or MCL or concussion can happen to anyone too. Doesn’t change that Thomas has missed significant time and had setbacks during his rehab. Does ghosting your coach and training staff happen to anyone too? How about getting suspended for fighting with a teammate? Don’t recall that ever happening to Julio. But you’ve got your nose so far up the organization’s butt that you won’t acknowledge those facts.

Jones is out there. He’s available. He’s healthy (at least more so than Thomas who still has hurdles according to his coach). He’s got a wealth of experience to pass onto younger players. There is a good chance he could be had at a reasonable price (although that may be changing as I’ve heard Packers and Ravens MIGHT have interest in him). I wouldn’t mind seeing the Saints sign him at a bargain as our 4th WR. That’s my opinion. Case closed. You don’t agree, fine. But the combative nature you are taking with me isn’t going to change my mind. My reasoning is sound. Deal with it.

I can’t with Guido apparently. He’s either complaining that it’s my life’s mission to argue with him or gathering pages of information in order to…well argue with me.

And the mystery of why he's allowed to stay just continues to deepen.

Re: Jarvis Landry Signing With Saints

Just like at RB, TE, DT, and OG, the team could use help/depth at WR at this point. If Having Landry compete with Callaway/Smith/Harty/player X for spots 3-5 is the question then Id vote no; provided the resources are used elsewhere.

Edit: If he and Julio were available at the same cost I’d take Landry.

LOL! Combative nature. All I did was post comparative injury histories. I even said you have your opinion and I have mine. I didn't say another word other than posting the histories.

Relax, dude. I find it amusing that you didn't go off on others that mentioned not wanting Jones and pointing out his recent performance and injury history. Wonder why that is?
