Sean Payton was just saying the Saints don't need a WR in the 1st Round. Dennis Allen obviously disagreed. Payton was too stuck in his ways while the NFL was changing around him. The Bengals had Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd. The year before you had Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Antonio Brown vs Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins, and Travis Kelce. That receiver/tight end room has to go crazy to compete. In truth, we still need one more moving piece like Odell Beckham or Jarvis Landry to seal the deal. It gives you the depth to make it through injuries and also makes you close to unstoppable when everybody is fully healthy because most teams don't have a good enough DB room to handle all that. However...we do.

Mebbe.... we'll see if one of the rooks step up. If Landry is a WR3 , it's an expensive WR3. Not sure it's worth the price, even if we have the cap space.
