But this is Winston's third season here so I can't accept the non-familiarity argument; plus he did run with the ones last season, with the more favorable matchups... |

If Brees wouldn’t have worked out then it would have been par for the course at that point in time. Sub.500 seasons are unacceptable now, even if we see future potential.

Re: The Jameis Winston Doubters Parallel the Drew Brees Doubters of 2006
I know a lot of people want to take the training wheels off on Winston, and I don't disagree but IMO we should go slow(ish). I get a lot of people want to see bombs away on offense and I won't lie - I want that as well. That being said, with a world class D (which it seems like it will be) why push the bombs if you don't have to? I think we should gradually bring Winston along, build his confidence, work on his timing with his receivers, and expand when needed or comfortable. Eventually it will come. Check downs are not a crime unless that's all you are doing (especially if you are hitting an open AK in space). My $0.02.

TE is a need as well as rb to me, hopefully someone steps up. But yeah,it would be nice if he's better than Pitts.

We desperately need to get a check down tight end....and a running back to carry the football while AK is suspended. We've done a lot this off season. There's just a little more talent TE and RB needed to go deep in the playoffs.

Keep in mind, even IF Kamara gets a suspension it may not be until the 2023 season. They are still in the investigatory stages. The next update hearing isn't until August.

Chris Simms reinforces the fact that he is a moron.
