Shahid is getting back to full strength. He's moving well on those routes.

Olave ... creating separation.

This guy is going to be trouble for defenses.

Several sources were saying that Olave was the most NFL ready WR in the draft this year. They may have been right.

If Krull can put together some consistent practices and subsequent pre-season games, he'll be a good candidate for the PS.

Good. He doesn't need to play this week. Really, none of the starters do. They all got much more valuable work in during the dual practices.

Re: 2022 New Orleans Saints: Training Camp

This is another reason why almost all of these coaches value these dual practices over preseason games. If it wasn't for the gate they would likely be gone by now.

He'll be scooped up by some other team. He'll need to make the squad

Trautman speaks on something he learned at Tight End University over the offseason and how it's helping him in the pass game this camp.

You been at practice? I put a little more weight on what Ross Jackson is seeing in person all day every day and what the head coach that has seen every snap all offseason has seen than what someone else thinks they saw in limited TV coverage of the 1st quarter of a preseason game. But that's just me. :D

I'll admit they see more than I do at practice, but they showed every play of the game on TV. I trust my eyeballs more than "coach speak" which may or may not be truthful. Remember George Bush told Brownie he was doing a hell of a job after Katrina? He was fired not long after that. Sometimes people say things that are the opposite of the truth, maybe to make people feel better.

I definitely understand your point.

Ellis is still trying to figure it out and Baun isn't a fit . I sure as hell hope Werner heals up soon.

LB depth is dicey.
