LOL! All QB's throw picks in training camp. It's called finding out what you can get away with using your receivers. That said, where are these mentions? I've been monitoring EVERY practice session of the training camp very closely and he's probably had five or six max total, if that many. Hell, Brees has had near that many in a single training camp session.

Yes they do throw interceptions, I was posting my thoughts. You know, this message board is a place where people are allowed to do that, without having to submit to your almighty, all knowing wisdom.

I've seen mentions and I don't have to prove anything to you.

No. Sometimes my statements are to share facts as opposed to supposition. I have a question out right now to hopefully get an accurate count of training camp picks by Winston. I'll share them IF I get the response.

Well I can appreciate Dennis Allen’s transparency on player injuries.

He doesn’t hide anything or keep it “top secret” the way Payton did.

I contacted Kat Terrell to see if she could get actual camp pick numbers for Winston. She said she look back and see.

Here was her response ...

"I would have to go back and look and compare, but obviously it can't be recently since he hasn't done team in weeks, lol"

And don't forget the new experiment using Kirk Merritt in the RB role. A type of player can be used as WR, return man, gunner, and RB stands a better shot of earning a roster spot.

No less than 10 players were not at practice today including receiver Michael Thomas, tight end Taysom Hill, cornerback Marshon Lattimore, right guard Cesar Ruiz, safety P.J. Williams and left tackle James Hurst. Coach Dennis Allen did not seem that concerned after practice telling the media "that's part of it, we're at that part in camp where you're going to get some knicks and bruises, that you have to battle through, and we're dealing with it now."

Observations from New Orleans Saints training camp | Monday, Aug. 22

Play of the Day/red zone defense dominates: When team drills began, I uttered aloud to fellow media members watching practice that I needed a play of the day for Observations. Well, as I always say, "ask, and ye shall receive." On The very first rep, Winston looked to complete a 15-yard pass out near the left sideline. Defensive back C.J. Gardner-Johnson was having none of it, stepping in front of receiver Jarvis Landry and making a stellar one-handed interception, taking it down the sideline to the house for a touchdown. It was Winston's first interception during team drills this training camp, but credit Ceedy for the outstanding play.
