Re: It was a done deal ...
This really makes me look at Sean Payton differently. He’s obviously been trying to leave for a while now.

Re: It was a done deal ...
I am responsible for recruiting, training and building teams. I lead our go to market strategies and the execution of objectives. Throughout each I'm looking for new ways to motivate my people in a way that pushes them to realize the best in themselves.
I've followed Sean's approaches over the years and have enjoyed having him lead our team. From Bounty Gate to the Nola No Call - I can imagine just how tired he must have grown of "everything" over the past few seasons... |

Re: It was a done deal ...
Points to ponder In the 2020 playoff game against the Vikings. Taysom Hill's 50-yard completion to Deonte Harris traveled 54.7 yards in the air, longer than any Drew Brees completion (by air distance) over the last 3 seasons, including playoffs. READ THAT AGAIN LET IT SINK IN With under six minutes in the fourth quarter, Hill took a carry for a 9-yard gain to the New Orleans 47 on a third-and-1 to keep a drive alive. Two plays later, facing a second-and-5 at the Minnesota 48, Hill took the snap left and broke through a pair of tackles before rattling off a bruising 28-yard run to the Minnesota 20. THEN On the next play, Brees had the ball stripped by Danielle Hunter and the Vikings recovered to end the scoring threat and maintain Minnesota’s 20-17 lead. Brees was horrible against Tampa Bay in his last game. Why wasn't Jameis Winston not given more snaps? |
