Maybe that will unfortunately be part of his legacy stick. He did nothing to develop a young QB as a backup/future starter. He sure didn’t plan well for Brees replacement if he thought it was gonna be Hill.

Brees went out without once feared arm. As you observed Hill isn't a great passer yet he did what Brees couldn't do for 3 years. Go deep. Devry Henderson played with the Saints until 2012, and caught six 50-plus yard touchdowns from Brees. In Two years Kenny Stills caught four 50-yard touchdowns from Brees. Brandin Cooks caught seven 50-yard touchdowns from Brees. Ted Ginn, who ran a 4.38 40-yard dash. There is an entire five-minute video of Brees’s 70-yard touchdown passes, many of which are bombs thrown over the top. At least he didn't go out "3 times" like Bret Favre with his last passes all being INT'S. |
