I'm sure he has our game circled on the schedule as a grudge match. I expect him to be wired up for that exchange of words. Good luck with everyone but us little man. Stay off the social media before the game and don't follow Eli Apple's example of poor sportsmanship.

It will be interesting to see how he is used in the Philly system. I sure schematically this will be a whole new system, assignments and responsibilities.

He has great instincts and Football IQ but he does not the talent in that DB room that he has had in New Orleans.

Re: CGJ Traded to Eagles

If at any time he said "pay me, or trade me, or you will wish you had" then New Orleans Front Office had no choice.

1. We do not have the cap space to pay him.
2. Trade him - What we did.
3. Wish we had. This is why we had to trade him and had to do it this year. If he followed through then he may have damaged any value he would have next year since it is one thing to throw tantrums and another thing to tank on the field.

The front office made the correct choice from what I have seen, value is both fluid and subjective.

Re: CGJ Traded to Eagles

I’ve heard people say “you love him if he plays for you and hate him if he plays against you”. Well I’m guessing not everyone even loved playing with him. Thomas disliked it enough to fight him.

Great perfect timing. I guess Maye decided to wait until the day after we traded CJGJ to assault someone with a weapon . Jesus Christ

Marcus Maye just made the Saints eat crow. Right now hearing the news depending on the details etc....I he really did this he should get ✂️. DUI and aggravated assault with a firearm c'mon man I would trade back for Chauncey RN lmao

So, Kamara is in trouble for assault and Maye is in trouble for assault…then CGJ is traded for peanuts…(yes I know the Saints didn’t know). Sounds like the start to a hell of a year ! 😀

This is why I wanted to still have our 1st round pick. Stuff catches on fire. Best to insure the house. Now if it all burns down we are stuck rolling around in the ashes next April. But oh yeah I forgot the pick is still gonna be #32 right????

In all fairness bako, it’s hard for me to filter through all you say because you present it through a negative saints viewpoint. I believe you are pulling for the saints and you want them to win, yet you filter everything they do through what they could have done differently or how it will go wrong.

I’ve found myself agreeing with some of what you say and don’t think you are tin foil hat level, but I can’t recall any posts you’ve made that have ever been supportive of anything the team has done (Maybe you have and I’ve missed them). Don’t you think that’s a little harsh? Do you get any enjoyment out of being a saints fan? I’m not trying to be a jerk. I’m honestly trying to understand your angle.
