The contracts are written for the sole purpose of restructure. For this principle to work it must be maintained. As long as the cap keeps skyrocketing it will continue to be the most cost effective way to remain competitive year after year ... barring unforeseen levels of injury, of course. But even with that we remained in the hunt for a playoff spot until the final week.

What if revenue contracted for a few years ? Many say it's not going to happen, but are they correct in saying so simply because it hasn't happened yet? I can already hear a few expletives by quite a few NFL executives of that were to happen. |
