I guess JW’s feelings weren’t hurt that bad. He’s coming back. As a backup. Now I’m starting to question his and the FO’s decision making. His for coming back as a backup when he was complaining about the organization and how he lost his job. And the FOs decision making as to why they would offer a contract to a guy that was complaining about the organization. What the heck is going on here?

The Saints must have washed their hands of Davenport. 1 year for $13 million seems like a safe bet for the Vikings.

Annoys me that they can't find 7M per year and adjust the defense to include Kaden as a starter, yet they can pay Jameis 8M to ride the bench.

JW return does surprise me … does this save all the dead cap hit money was going to be owed JW had he been either Wednesday or designate post June 1 cut.

Yup. That one was a no brainer. With our defense in a 4-2 front 95% of the time it's foolish to pay a backup LB starter money. Besides, it could net us yet another compensatory pick next season.
