Go re-sign Onyemata and hopefully Ellis. Pair an IDL in the draft and watch them eat. Before the PED suspension Onyemata was playing well enough but after he came back he struggled to make an impact. Ellis will likely be able to step into a starting role if he signs somewhere else, rather than sitting behind DeMario Davis for a couple of more years. So, signing him looks less and less likely each day.

Demario is looking like he can play for another five years. The guy is still an absolute stud.

Man, the Falcons paid up for Onyemata. Good for him. Now I hope he sucks. :D

Onyemata goes to the enemy, but we'll get a decent compensatory pick for that sizeable contract next year.

Man I was hoping we’d retain Onyemata but understandable he’d want to follow Nielsen. I figured he’d get at least one of our guys to go

So what you're saying is that you wanted David O to stay in NOLA on the cheap but can understand he went and got paid with Atlanta and reunites with his former positional coach :p ?

DT becomes a priority (draft/and or FA) in 2023.

David O will be 31 this year anyways + it's time for the Saints to start the youth movement.

The Saints were the NFL’s oldest team in 2022

Our best players are 30+ ... Demario, Mathieu, Cam, Taysom, Hurst, MT, etc.

Do what the contenders are doing (Chiefs, Chargers, Cowboys, Bengals, Fins) with their rosters.
