I agree with this 100%. The Saints aren’t being judged by the moves they made, but instead by the idea that they should tank because they aren't a "true contender" in the eyes of the media. Prior to that everybody said we needed a QB. We got a 4x Pro Bowler. They said we needed help at RB. We picked up Jamal Williams, league leader in TD's last year. We retained an All-Pro WR. We let a bust walk at DE. We've added depth and competition at Safety. Our interior defensive line got bigger and stronger. It's ridiculous.

I would question those on staff who thought Davenport would perform better @ 275 vs 265. He looked totally different in 2022. No burst.

If you hadn't noticed, Payton Turner is BIGGER (heavier) than his original weight as a rookie as well.
