I still cannot imagine, or get into the "mindset" of a customer, a consumer, a FAN that can just sit back and continue to believe that the law of supply and demand doesn't play a part in a (BIG) business, such as the Sports/Entertainment Industry. Of course it's in your control. You just don't want to demand better from your service provider. Y'all just sit back and enjoy mediocrity (at best), dismal performance (at its worst), and keep forking over your hard-earned bucks and life force to be content with more of the same. It's clinical Masochism.

LMAO !! Refer to POST #61.

And right on queue, the mediocrity MINDSET poster responds to defend :p.

I only responded (ignore function is WONDERFUL) because I see you quoted his post.

If other opinions on this board doesn’t “jive” with his thoughts, it’s perceived as negative. Saintfan called it on this clown last year.

Meanwhile Dennis, Carmichael will stink it up again in 2023.

IMAGINE a Fan Forum, or any situation really, where there is no "*****in and moanin" - while dismal season after dismal season rolls on, completely unchecked and accepted. A compliant, complacent, robotic world. Much more negative at its core, than any *****in' and moanin'.

Some folks here, and particularly here for some reason would defend anything the Saints do, they’d praise bringing jamarcus russell in.

I'm not defending "anything the Saints do", in fact I've been very vocal in my criticism. I even stated Pete wasn't effective without SP...

If you're suggesting the Offensive Coordinator of the last 16 years wasn't designing plays throughout the week then I'm not sure there's much more to debate about because that's just not plausible.

Pete had all the time in the world to ride right seat and see learn how the Saints were supposed to roll while coaching with SP. After all of that time, he finally got his chance to get behind the wheel. But instead of taking the wheel and rolling out, his play calling seems timid and inept. It's baffling how he was along for the ride all of those years and not able to make the transition to effectively drive the scoring!

This makes me kind of dubious about what he'll do differently in 2023.

I have to assume Pete won't be in sole possession of the offense moving forward.

Let's see what moves the Saints make next.

There's still an entire off-season ahead...

Agreed. The word "stale" came up a lot.

This one hits hard, as it shines a spotlight on the deluded people that will destroy friendships with people that they actually know arguing over people whom they have never met and will never meet. Most often done with layers or false virtue, proclamations of empathy, and an air of some fictional greater understanding.

“I’d rather lose an argument to you, than lose you to an argument.”

Since we made a QB our highest paid TE and then fired the TE coach when that didn't work, maybe our next big coaching change will be to give Adam Troutman a big raise, start him at QB, and make firing the QB coach our only move in the next offseason if that doesn't work.

I'm detecting a slight bit of sarcasm there Bako :p
