Can you really tell until they actually play in the NFL? That's what makes it so difficult. How much do you gamble on that position while passing on other positions that may be more predictable.

Surely if SF can get it with Mr Irrelevant , so can the Saints. History is rife with real good QBs not taken in the first round. SP was in control previously and made the wrong calls on QBs not named Brees and Mahomes. Maybe Jeff Ireland and DA get an opportunity in 2023 for a similar nugget as Purdy. ![]()
