Maybe, but his character will be a huge question. First he left the scene of the accident and then he lied to police about being there, having been drinking, and being involved in the dangerous road racing. Sure, he was probably scared to death, but it tells a lot about his character, something that teams will weigh heavily. The lying will have more of a negative impact than the actual violations.

It’s frustrating to see guys who are at the cusp of making to the NFL and making millions of dollars do stupid sh*t like this. It’s also sad because these guys aren’t fully developed mentally at that age and sometimes don’t fully grasp the consequences of their actions. That part of the brain is actually the last to develop.
