Probably a bit of both. There are a bunch of guys that gets overlooked every year because of size, speed och any other measurment. Or they got stuck behind a stud in college. Then some of them ends up in the perfect system for their skillset in the NFL and all of a sudden BOOM. Coach looks like a genius and the scouts like duds.

Speaking of former 1st rounders, I see Payton Lynch
was BENCHED. In the XFL 😳. Boy, talk about a former 1st rd bust by the Broncos. “Hitting” on QBs at the NFL level is so hard to do. But the Saints need to start gambling a bit more. And drafting a QB in rds 4-7 don’t carry much weight. See Ian Book. |
