And for an absolute fact the national media hasn't given that impression at all. The vast majority of Saints fans don't care at all who's coaching or what their history may happen to be. They only hope when the season begins that the Saints will win their games. They'll be there in the stands or in front of their screens watching and having fun. The vast majority of fans leave the constant criticism to that very vocal small minority.
The problem is that Dennis Allen does not Inspire confidence with his record, his leadership skills, or his play calling ability on offense, I don't follow football outside of the New Orleans Saints, but when the media talks about the Saints I have never heard Dennis Allen receive a compliment other than being a good defensive coordinator. Mostly, people are talking about his record and how he was handed A well-stocked thing that failed.

Allen's record in Oakland is meaningless. That roster was bad from top to bottom. As for his play calling on offense, he has no more input on offensive play calling than Payton had on defensive play calling. That was all on Carmichael and his staff as far as play design and calling. But, to be fair, Carmichael was limited to what Dalton could do behind a makeshift offensive line while missing three of his top receivers (Thomas, Landry, and Harty) for most of the season.

You say the team was well stocked when Allen took over. Well, I guess they had a huge fire in the stock room before opening shop because it looked more like Big Lots than Macy's out there with all of the inferior products on the shelves.
