The D really **** the bed in the 4th quarter, Malcolm Jenkins getting beaten for a long completion on 3rd or 4th down makes me sick to this day.
The 2018 team, the D was incredible but Drew was really holding the offense back when we got into the playoffs. The reason the Rams game was even close was because our entire playbook was flare pass to Kamara or Slant to Thomas.
09 team had it all, even the luck that it takes in certain situations.
I remember Harper being the worst player on the field in that game. It might've been Gregg Williams putting him in bad situations but if I recall,
the big TE receptions and the Smith QB TD run were on Harper.
Taking PT out with the helmet to helmet hit really set the tone and crippled the Saints that day. (Why did the refs let Whitner take a head shot like that and not penalize him?  )
