Jake Haener is probably putting in a lot of extra time studying this week. He's one hit away from his first start in the NFL, and he needs to show the team something this year before we get to the draft looking for the future NO QB. Not that it really matters because Allen is still the one calling plays.

He might be a little long in the tooth but he hasn't played at all this year and would have two weeks to get used to this system.

Never hurts to kick the tires... I see someone else picking him up off of our pratice squad before he can get in the line up tho.

Yep.

I was hoping for legit DE before the trade deadline. Saints have one of the worst pass rush win rates of any NFL team. Cam isn't getting any younger and Granderson needs help.

I'm starting to think that Payton Turner won't return at all this season.
