There's really no reason why Jackson, Anderson, or Orji couldn't do the same, if needed, and for a lot less money than Elliss got on the free agent market. I'm also curious to see how Elliss responds to moving from Dennis Allen's 4-2 front to Atlanta's 3-4. The same can be said for Onyemata taking over as NT in that same 3-4.
We think we know but we don't know what the insiders know. We have typically drafted well under Ireland in the middle to late rounds, where you find players who slipped down, and have good position coaches. I strongly believe that we need to develop these young players rather than rushing them off the roster for a vet who has already reached his ceiling. Unlike DD, who came into his own in and blossomed in New Orleans.

BTW. Is Onyamata built to play DT in a 3-4? I thought you needed a space eater there.
