Re: NFL Ref’s Rule
[QUOTE=AsylumGuido;982851]
Now we have 12-20 cameras at every game. The those video qualities are incredible and the replay abilities are instantaneous. instantaneous ĭn″stən-tā′nē-əs adjective Occurring or completed without perceptible delay. Now tell everyone that the "instantaneous" reviews do not in any way delay the game. It's the commentators in the booth and the fans watching on TV who actually see it instantaneously. Why can't the NFL have a "Replay Official" seeing what the commentators and TV viewers see ? The NFL could institute the "SKY JUDGE" next week if they so desired. The fact that they don't should have everyone asking "WHY?" The NFL would lose "CONTROL" of the game, that's WHY. The NFL panders to those "FANS" who watch for the "ENTERAINMENT" . Fans like YOU Now tell the Group you've never said that ENTERTAINMENT is what you so cherish! |

And, yes, I am completely entertained by the product. I see no issue with that at all. And, yes, I am a fan. What's wrong with any of that? P.S. What is "enterainment"? Maybe you need to break out that little dictionary of yours again. ![]() |

Also, The refs are obviously worse now than they were in the past. You don't need dozens of camera angles to see blown calls and it happens in almost every game. The NFL doesn't want competent refs. If they did then the refs should be full time with proper referee coaching. The NFL is a joke! ![]() |

Re: NFL Ref’s Rule
If the game is completely scripted and rigged why do you as fans buy into it and complain about Pete Carmichael's playcalling or anything that Dennis Allen does? If they are just following the script then why question them? What's really incredible is how they insert those injuries at opportune times.
Personally I can't wait for this week's episode! What does the NFL have planned in our game? Damn! This makes it that much more exciting! It's like watching The Game of Thrones again. ![]() ![]() |

So when the refs think a call is close or could be criticized for deciding the game, they may err in the favored teams favor. They probably thought the Rams committed pass interference but it was a little more bang-bang to them in real time and they knew RD wanted the Rams in the Super Bowl so they no-called it because the actual consequences from RG had it looked less egregious on replay and kept the Rams out of the big game would have been a lot worse for them than the consequences if it looked more egregious on tape, as it did, but still resulted in RG's favored outcome. I don't think RG has to tell the refs to rig games, he just has to make it clear that big mistakes are acceptable if they end up with his favored result, as he did in that case, and the message is clear to give his favored teams the family discount on tickets to the super bowl, and often nudge them in.![]()
But the second part is that after Saints fans got robbed of a Super Bowl by the no-call, we publicly called out the refs. We challenged the authority and divinity of their sacred brotherhood more than any fan base. Saints fans became the equivalent of black lives matter or defund the police to the refs. We booed them at every game. Saints fans probably spit on their food and harassed them at their hotels. So we became public enemy number one for all that, but most of all for publicly challenging their authority, because it being the wrong call didnt matter to them, challenging their brotherhood did. So now, even if Goodell doesn't care and we are playing Mayfield's Bucs for the division title in the final weeks and he doesn't want to promote them either, the refs will be extra hard on us because we are 'animals' and 'the wrong kind of people' to them. But again the league is not rigged, it is biased. I don't think the refs will blatantly overturn multiple consecutive scores and turnovers in a way that could get them investigated by congress. They will just tilt the scales. So we can still win, but to win the big games when the refs will tilt the scales against us the most for vengeance, we need to dominate. We can't just trot out league average Derek Carr and some good ole boy coaches and hope to win the division at 9-8 and get lucky from there. We need to be playing like the Dolphins or 49ers are now. So that why I do want DA and PC gone. With how the refs are we can't afford to be just good, we need to be great to have a chance to win. And honestly we are lucky to look even good in even half the games with these guys. We need to find the next Belichick and the next Brady. We need to become the team Goodell wants to promote so the refs worry there will be consequences if they want to screw us. It's not that Goodell is so excited about the Kansas City market, its that they have such a dynamic young star and such a good coach and players dating Taylor Swift and the league can't resist marketing them. If we want to get the refs off our back we need to become that. Thats on reason why rather than signing Carr I would have rebuilt and stockpiled picks to draft Williams or Arch Manning. |
