Well, we know how much Carr means to this team. He's looked better every week.

If we continue at this pace we will be 12-5. I think we need to get ahead of the market by giving Carmichael a 10 year contract extension now. Then our dynasty is locked in. Michael Thomas too. He needs to remain the first look.

This season is over if Carr misses much time. We did nothing without him.

The Saints pissed their pants but those PI calls were absolute garbage.

The most mismanaged 4th quarter I’ve ever seen. We were a balanced team and JW comes in. We pass EVERY PLAY. What kind of coaching is that?!?!??

WE SUCK. TOTALLY UNPREPARED. NO DEPTH. POOR COACHING. NO OFFENSIVE LINE. BLEW A 17 PT LEAD. WE SUCK. SHAME.

Dude. They played awesome until Carr went down. This isn't on them.

Yes, that lead was squandered because Jameis Winston was in and the defenses on the field too much... Looking for all the Winston lovers

Me too! When the Pack got the two-point conversion I knew we would miss the FG.

Jameis looked pretty good tbh. He put them in position to take the lead back. Rookie kicker missed the kick. Packers outcoached us.

No QB fumbles or INTS. We were 15 ahead when Carr went out and they had yet to score a TD.

This is on D and HC for the horrendous 2m drill calls.

Were we watching the same game? Missed a wide open wr on the sideline and almost threw an interception. Held the ball way too long. It’s the difference between him and Carr. Get rid of the ball even if it’s a dump offHe should have handed the ball off and that’s it.

Throwing a 2 yard pass on 3rd and 8.

I knew it was coming yet they still surprised me.

Saints gonna Saint in that position, Carmichael and the offense are atrocious.

I know the D was on the field a lot, but if you want to take on the mantle as a great D, you have to prove it.

In the 4th Quarter, the Packers steamrolled us constantly.

That’s every one of Dennis Allen’s seasons as a head coach. Always out coached.
He isn’t 16–38 (.296) on accident.

Maybe check the temperature of the room before irritating a man when his blood is up. I’m certain you wouldn’t say that to him in person.

This Saints OL is surprisingly BAD. It actually sucks.

No rhythm, no continuity, nothing.

That PFF stat (ranked #27th) is accurate.

Re: Saints @ Packers Game Day Thread

So we’re really ignoring the fact Jameis threw us into very reasonable field goal range? The kicker missed the kick but the blame is on Jameis? The guy was 10 out of 16 for 101 yards in limited playing time. He got Michael Thomas involved in the offense and hit Olave with a beautiful back shoulder throw. If anything when he initially came in the playcalling was conservative because we were up 17.

And a lot of WRs running the wrong route. Not on Jameis.

On multiple plays on that last drive. Two and three receivers in the same exact area.

Re: Saints @ Packers Game Day Thread

Kicker gotta make that kick. It was nerves I think. I think you get behind him keep his confidence up move on to next week maybe with Carr and if not Carr Jameis. They have to something with oline overall I know some guys went down, but Penning needs help idk....Ruiz looked like his old self even before the injury. Run game did start to come along Kendre and Tony looked pretty good. Do thin we could have ran the ball more but maybe they daw something that made them call it different. That missed TD before the injury hurt more than the injury. 2-1 and loading

I just can't understand putting this on the D. They did their job for over 3 quarters. Alonte was lights out. They had no help in the 4th from the offense.

Yes the kicker missed no one is debating that... 4 punts with Winston, shouldn't have come down to a last FG. Our D balled all game and then they were on the field way too much because we couldn't move the ball. Winston had his chance, but he won't be eating any W's and neither are we. Squandered a 17 point lead

I’m going full chicken little here. If Carr misses a few weeks the sky is falling. Coaches had a brain fart when he went out. Passed every freaking down. No ball control and run out the clock, let’s pass and do all we can to let garbage love win.

Guys thought otherwise? We've been pretty bad so far. Maybe more 23-25 but still needs improvement
