Make all the excuses y’all want… that’s what a fan will do. Piss poor offensive line, no back up plan if an average QB goes down (and down he went), no running game to eat up clock and move the chains, a defense that had no choice but to get gassed and burnt…. It all falls on the front office doorstep. Y’all can give Dennis Allen and the whole coaching staff a pass again and again, but DIEHARD FANS could see last season, this season, and probably more seasons like this coming from a million miles away, when Drew was in decline, and SP saw the door. Team (mis)management DID NOT PREPARE TO WIN.

Y’all can talk about “rebuilding” and how it takes time, but you still see Winston hanging around (with or without protection), and you KNOW he’s not the answer. Y’all see the same ridiculous play calling that allows 17 points (10 of which were from Special Team) to be completely squandered…

Most painful is the fact that there are some MONSTER PLAYMAKERS on this team, which is a team so poorly managed and coached, we get to see what we saw today… “But wait! There’s more!” The Season has only just begun!

There’s my Nega-Rant. And I don’t need to be reminded of the seasons that were more pathetic than this one. This one is the one that counts. And we’re not prepared to WIN IT.

Re: Observations from the Saints Loss to Packers

I can understand that people are unhappy that we lost the game but things to remember are:

We only lost by one point!

The team were bound to be a little deflated after watching their new starting QB walk off!

We get Kamara back next game, so hopefully more running plays!

We ARE 2-1 not 0-3!

Plenty of season to go yet!

Falcons lost today! Yaaaaay!

Keep the faith Saints fans!!! Geaux Saints!!!!!!

While I appreciate your optimism and enthusiasm, I can't share them right now.

Good for you for being a fan though. (And I don't mean for that to sound condescending)

Re: Observations from the Saints Loss to Packers

Three scenarios:

A. Kamara is effective behind this oline.

B. Kamara is ineffective running behind this oline and has to spend too much time 'chipping' to help much in the passing game.

C. Kamara is injured behind this oline.

I think A is least likely.

You kinda loss me there boss.

1, 2, 10 … it’s still chalked up as an L in the books.

Saints had no business losing today. Especially with a 3 score lead at the half.

If you take Sheed's TD on the return, the offense let us down bigly.

No excuses. We should have won... just didn't.

Off to next week.

Small consolation... Denver is getting blasted by Miami 70-20 so far .
Holy mother of... I thought you were kidding about the 70 part until I looked it up. That's insane!
