Re: COACH ALLEN SAYS “NO STAFF CHANGES FORTHCOMING…”
Technically changing play callers isn't a change in the staff. Right?
I have a bad feeling the Pats defense is going to resmble the '85 Bears while Mac Jones will look like Brady in his prime. |

Re: COACH ALLEN SAYS “NO STAFF CHANGES FORTHCOMING…”
Listening to analysts around the league on coaches who underperform (players too), I never understood the “it’s too early” angle.
When is it “too late” on Carmichael? Inept coaching, play calling and design was the reason why this team missed the post season in 2022. And the Saints had every opportunity to TAKE the division. It’s already starting to look like a repeat THIS season. Looks like they don’t want it. Cool, you”ll get fired together. Insane. |

Re: COACH ALLEN SAYS “NO STAFF CHANGES FORTHCOMING…”
Carmichael demoted or fired, Curry becomes OC and calls plays, but preserves basic scheme. This would actually provide more continuity. The problem with having Curry call plays while Carmichael technically is still OC is that if it works and we win, continuity will end next year when Curry becomes the Falcons OC and we are stuck with Carmichael who cant call plays. You have to give the title if you want to protect them. Thats why we lost both DC’s from last year, we wouldnt give either the title.
