Amazing isn't it about QB Purdy? Our very own Jake Haener should be close to this guy. We won't see him for a while. Brock Purdy didn't play until late in the season for SF. It does take time to assimilate the play book.

Haener is a lottery ticket until he proves otherwise. He could be the next Purdy but there are 20 other failed mid round picks he could be like instead. He could also be like 1998 6th round pick John Dutton of the Miami Dolphins who was drafted in hopes of being a successor to Dan Marino but instead became a 2x Arena Bowl champion and later the fictional governor of Montana. So it is just as likely that Jake Haener will go on to be a fictional livestock commissioner n cable TV as that he will be the next Brock Purdy.![]()
