They each had one turnover. Young was sacked four times. Carr once. Young was 13 for 36 (36.1%) passing. Carr was 18 for 26 (69.2%). Carr had two passing TD's. Young had zero. Not only was Young outplayed by Carr, but he was outplayed by a huge margin. Not even close. Several of the few Panthers' fans in attendance were booing Young in the 4th quarter.
Bryce didn’t offer a performance worthy of booing. Young being allowed to escape the pocket continued keep multiple drives alive.
Carr has always put up MVP type numbers, while playing like garbage.
There was a stretch in the game where benching Carr wasn’t totally out of the question.
