The Saints have had such an easy schedule that by now we should be considering resting our starters. Instead, we are outside looking in again hoping for another team to lose so that we can squeak in. I'm so sick of this time of year and mathematical probabilities that never work out in our favor.

It's not often that you get what you don't earn. Saints players will be watching the playoffs at home again this year. They can thank their coaches for their early vacation.

At a minimum it would be bittersweet because it would require a lot of other teams planes crashing.
