Re: Fire Dennis Allen NOW
I think the fans should put up a "Keep Dennis Allen" billboard. Why? Mickey seems to disregard what ever the fans and Superdome patrons say and rub our noses in it. Reverse psychology might be our only chance.

The guy will never be any better than he has been in his career! We have enough track record to know that for a fact! It can only get worse for us if we keep him!!! Why isn’t PC fired yet? Management is crap!!!

Re: Fire Dennis Allen NOW
I have a feeling that the petition will get a lot more signatures if he fails again. He may not make it through the season if Belichick takes the Atlanta job.

Re: Fire Dennis Allen NOW
I think he has purely been kept on as the team can't make the changes the new coaching staff would want. They are stuck with aging vets, a middling QB and no cap or draft picks to change things. They know no coach worth their salt will touch the team for at least 12 months maybe 2 years so are sticking with Allen

Re: Fire Dennis Allen NOW
Belichick won't be any more successful at Atlanta than he's been anywhere else without Tom Brady. The game has passed him by. I hope the hell he does end up there.

I think fans should put up a "Fire Mickey Loomis" billboard. Gayle might not listen, but every time Loomis thought of it he might pour himself a double, and maybe a telephone pole would listen.

Re: Fire Dennis Allen NOW
Brady didn't build those defenses. Brady didn't find game changing offensive stars like Gronk and Welker for cheap. But you are right about the fact that the game has passed him by, and I am not afraid if Atlanta hires him any more than I am afraid if they bring back Julio Jones for a farewell tour. If Belichick could possibly win again it would not be with a QB-poor rebuilding young roster like Atlanta has or with whatever rookie QB they may draft.

Re: Fire Dennis Allen NOW
Speaking of Atlanta, I see Harbaugh wrapped up his interview with them on today. Better hope this guy doesn't end up in the NFC South.
Jim is a winner. On both the collegiate and pro level. Harbaugh along with a top notch QB (pick #8 in rd 1), that's not good for us. Especially considering we still have Dennis Allen as HC. |
