Re: Off-season plan

Chase Young helps us off the edge.

The question I have is IF BPA so happens to be a EDGE RUSHER, will the Saints brain trust take one?

Gives them one more season to evaluate Payton Turner, WTFoskey and Young.

BTW, Turner is in a contract year so he needs to stay on the field. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the Saints have until the first week of May to decide if they pick up his 5th year option.

I wouldn't but that's just me.

If Verse or Turner are there, I think you have to take one. Cam is close to retiring, Young is on a 1 year deal, Foskey and Turner may be busts.

We basically have 1 quality DE for 2025 in Granderson, assuming Cam continues his age decline.

I think we can carry an extra DE or two on the roster, especially with all the injury prone DE's we have.

It's a good question. I have to think it would have to be someone unbelievable there to make that pick. I'm hoping that one of the top offensive tackles will be there.

I think we need to focus on offensive line.

True.

Especially considering Andrus Peat could sign elsewhere.

Last I read, he recently visited the Titans.
