Regardless of where we pick one we have to face the fact that we're not likely to get a day one starter at any offensive line position. That's a thing of the past these days across the whole league. But, you still need to draft them in hopes that they can be developed.

But our entire 2nd string offensive line is likely to see significant playing time, so if we get an active backup that helps too. Also historically our top offensive line draft picks have contributed sooner than our top defensive line draft picks, who have often contributed never. I hope we draft oline.

If I wanted to be specific I would have been. Everyone knows what I mean. With the way we whiffed on Foskey, Turner, and Davenport I would not worry too much about the possibility that an oline pick may not contribute immediately. At least some of our first round oline picks have been able to hold down a starting job the first year. When is the last time we drafted a dline who did that?

I don't believe we have "whiffed" on Foskey or Turner. Turner has looked good when he has been out there. Foskey is still young and could still develop into something good.

I might be wrong here but don't first and second round draft picks usually have high expectations? Should our picks develop sooner? Uhmmm......Yeah!!!
