Not true. If one understands what mistakes were made at the time, then one learns not to make those same mistakes again.

You have records to compare. Guys that came to our building 3 years ago when elsewhere and did stuff. Did you like the stuff that they did? Does that stuff look like championship caliber stuff.

Just off the cuff: Doug Pederson. Went to Jacksonville. Would the Saints have been able to sniff a championship with that guy?

Is there anything positive if the 2024 Saints win one more game and go to the playoffs? I know your answer, but I ask anyway.

I mean at this point if I could just get you to say that you like the way Janitors clean the restrooms it would be a win.

I'm just proving the point that you are incompatible here. You are like anti-matter in terms of being a supposed Saints Fan. You cannot find one single redeeming quality to the team that we now have. I really don't understand why you are here. You should be so disgusted with what you see in the Saints, that you should not ever want to talk about them or participate in anything involving the organization.

And that's exactly how you act: an anti Saints fan using the cloak of wanting to see the team to be better to continuously trash the organization.

Because everything, absolutely everything, you say trashes this team. This forum is not here to trash this team. You would be looking for the FailClowns forum where there are a hundred threads everyday that trash the Saints.

I want to stop you because you spew your filth about the Saints in every thread posted here. And just as shown here you don't have a single kind, or neutral, word about this team.

We have asked politely for you to tone it down. We have ignored you. We have screamed at the top of our lungs for you to stop. You are singlehandedly making this forum a miserable place to be.

There are many fans here that I enjoy have conversations about the Saints. The current 2024 Saints. YOU HATE THAT TEAM! You are no better than a typical FaiClowns fan. And I deal with them on a daily basis. You are like a whiney child in the middle of an adult conversation.

I no long have any interest in trying to shut you up. But you will never ever go unchallenged with you trashing of the Saints again. Everywhere you go here, I'll be there to challenge it. To ask you that since you can see that's it's so broken that obviously you know how to fix it and that you should share.

You don't because you can't. You don't have clue what it takes to put together a winning organization. Mickey Loomis has a SuperBowl under his watch. You have nothing but a big yappy mouth filled with trash for the Saints.

It's time for you to put up or shut up. Tell us how to make the Saints a better organization or stop trashing them. Or go somewhere where people want to hear that trash.

Well, let’s see if we can get this train back on the tracks.
Reasons to be positive about the season.
The biggest one for me is getting rid of Carmichael. I held nothing against the guy but he’s just not an OC. Kind of like that assistant manager who knows all about the business and is good at what they do but you hand them the keys to the business and they can’t do it at that level.
To piggyback off of that I was pleased with his replacement. I’m optimistic, but we truly won’t know until the season gets rolling.
That’s the biggest reason I have to be positive about the season.
Oh yes…the start of a new season!!!

This place is barely worth coming to anymore. I used to come here to get all my Saints news and have constructive discussions with other fans. Now this place and seemingly every Saints related thread is dominated by people that either have zero interest in having a conversation and just want to troll threads or people that seem to get their sayings from WWF wrestlers from the 1980s “There will be pain!!!”

I miss the days of JoeSam, Hagen, FF and JP.

Those guys were knowledgeable and could have a conversation or debate on the team or a player or coach without turning the entire thread into nothing but trash talking and posturing.

Bingo! That's where a great deal of my excitement sits, as well. With five games remaining last season we were LAST in the league in pre-snap motion. That hamstrings any QB not allowing them to get that definitive read on the defense. Offenses from the Shanahan/Kubiak tree design led the entire league in pre-snap motion. If we had even a halfway competent play designer and/or playcaller we would have easily won an additional two to three more games, walked away with the NFC South, hosted a home playoff game, and had a chance to do some damage.

We have one of the best defenses in the league and it will only get better with an offense that can spend more time on the field.

I miss the days of Sean Payton and Drew Brees.

Those guys were exciting to watch, and could keep me on the edge of my seat, chuggin aspirin and smoking like a fiend every game. It was a wild roller coaster ride, that even on games we lost, were exciting and intense.

So you miss quality discussions about Saints Football.
I miss quality Football from the Saints.

Again, Carmichael was in way over his head. JMO.
Having Kubiak here gives me optimism for this offense. Hopefully he can get results out of Carr and others that Carmichael just didn’t have the ability to do. If he doesn’t then that begs the question, did we misjudge on Kubiak or is Carr as bad as a lot of people say he is? Only time will tell.
