this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'd be in favor of kicking the tires on Lazard. He'll come cheaper and could be a possession complement to Shaheed and Olave....

They just restructured Carr so he is staying. We are now cap compliant

Maybe with this news the Seahawks would think about trading for Derek Carr. Klint Kubiak is the offensive coordinator there now, so there's that.

I don’t like carr but I don’t think we are a better team without him. Rattler can sit another year before he is given a chance. I think he has potential but I’d rather ride with carr and possibly draft Dart if he is there in round 2.
