Regarding A-mac, I think the AFL changed him...the scouting reports really emphasized that he was not the same person that made some really poor decisions in college...Everyone has made stupid decisions at that age and most of us a thankful that we are still alive to talk about it...I wanna see the kid play too, but he is still listed as 3rd qb...Does anyone know how he has done in practice this year? Maybe they don't like the kid as much as they used to....I see AB and Stecker or Craft in a trade to San Diego or maybe one of our plethora of tight ends

Is it possible that if Farve is shown the door in Green Bay, as is rumored, could he end up "in" New Orleans, close to his home, for his final one or two seasons?

That would be nice but, I doubt that Farve would want to be part of a rebuiling process of another team. Just having him around if we drafted another QB (and A Mac) would probably help them become leaders (I bet AB wishes he would have been around Farve while he had the chance instead of trying to make shapes out of the clouds while at practice.) Maybe Farve will feel sorry for us and the gulf coast fans and sign cheap because that's the only way Benson will sign him.

No, not gonna happen...The right NEW coach might be able to get him to come as a qb's coach

A guy making several million dollars a year has to hold a clipboard for 3 hours on Sunday and you act like we're cheering for his children to get sick. Misfortune of AB? I don't get paid to watch this crap every Sunday...I'm paying DirecTV and I don't even make six figures. So spare me the sob story. If you fail at your job every other time you come to work, I doubt your boss would give you 3 years to work it out. This needs to happen. I don't wish AB bad....I hope he has a happy life and I wish him all the best. But, I can't bear to watch him run my team any more....so this news makes me happy |

yas, I don't think xan has ever been an AB supporter, and I think the woo hoo at the bottom means he is happy AB is leaving. I think he was doing a tongue in cheek type thing, although you can never be sure.

Leinart's too expensive for what he is. I do think he could come out and be an OK pro, but I just don't see much in the way of upside. I don't think he's the best guy coming out this season. I'd rather not have the QB equivalent of Sullivan with that high pick. |

Like I ahve told many others, we will have to do a wait and see on Leinart. But if we don't draft him and we have the chance, it will be another in a long line of regrets for this team.
