I'll give Young (and the NFL) the benifit of the doubt that the "6" was a mistake of some kind. Still a 16 is just bad. Anyone still want to draft Young as our starting QB?

Peter King of Sports Illustrated told the Dan Patrick show that Vince Young was completely unprepared to take the Wonderlic test.
We're not talking about unprepared like he didn't practice. We mean unprepared like he didn't know he was going to take it. If anything gets Young to fire his family friends who are acting as his agents, this is it. Feb. 27 - 4:00 pm et Stoooopid. |

I took the Wonderlic as part of my interview process for the bank I work at. I had NO IDEA I was going to take it as part of my interview. I aced it easily. The thing isn't hard if you've got a brain, whether you're prepared for it or not. And so he fails a pop quiz that his agents didn't tell him about (or check on the internet to see if what's part of the combine); hows he going to do when the OC changes the game plan in the 20 minute halftime?!?
Oh wait, he'll do as well as Brooks has done.... Poorly. He's just taken himself out of the top five and possibly the top ten. |

It sounds like we're getting Cutler anyway. Young will be on another team. The Jets look like they will move up and pick Leinart or D'Brick. If the Jets do move up and get Leinart, I hope we pick D'Brick and sign Bentley. While I'm going, how much weight do you guys think is behind Leinart wanting to come to the Saints in hopes the team moves back to California so he can play near home? I know he can't pick himself, but he seemed genuinely interested in coming to the Saints in his combine interview. Additionally, there are 7 types of intelligence. Book smarts is only one type. Rickey Jackson wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed and he did well. Then again, he wasn't a QB. It doesn't really matter because it looks like Cutler is our new QB.

The 5th grader scored 6 of the 8 that she finished and the 9th grader scored 11 out of the 13 she finished. This was cold with no notice.
It certainly isn't rocket science. SFIAH |

dude there is no excuse for such a low score other then you are below normal intelligence. if you can play the game it really doesn't matter but at qb for some reason it seems like it would matter a lot. i wouldn't be surprised to see the guy either go to the raiders or fall towards the end of the first round. like in the 20's
