I would LOVE to have Leinart, LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE it, but if we can;t get FAs, and the choice is Leinart and then Hodge, or Brees and then Hawk or Fergie, and Mangold, and other picks, that HAS to give anyone pause, no matter how much they want Leinart. The fact is, if we had gotten Kemoteau or Witherspoon, or any other big name defensive player, or even guard Steve Hutchinson, I would still be leaning way more towards Leinart. But as it stands, and the way guys are flying elsewhere, I am all for getting the most and best picks we can out of this draft, and taking a chance on Brees. Like I keep saying, if he can't go, Brady Quinn is in next year's draft.

I know the Booty family very well, played high school baseball with Josh. Josh had all the drive in the world, but did not have enough on the talent side to succeed. Abram had more athletiscism than Josh, but had zero drive. John David has the best of both.

We all forget about Drew Stanton... that's right... learn it and remember it. Quinn and Stanton will be the top quarterbacks in next year's draft. I like Troy Smith also he's a much better passer than Vince Young and just as elusive.
