Message To Coach Payton
Mark Simoneau sucks! If you don't replace him soon, as in the next game, we will not be able to stop anyone. He's GARBAGE as a starter, put Brain Simmons in NOW, PLEASE! Even if he doesn't know all the plays, he can't do no worse than Simoneau, period.
First don't get me wrong on this. I love Reggie but, if you're not going to use the DEUCE, trade him. It just don't make any sense what so ever to have a BULLDOZER like D-MC and keep him on the sideline, I know we need to integrate Bush more in the running game, but when he's running timid like he did Thursday (for whatever reason), and Deuce is getting 4, 5 yards a pop, you stick with Deuce. Payton have to better understand how to use his GRAVEDIGGER Monster Truck(Deuce) and his Cherry Red Ferrari(Reggie). I'm not to worried about Jason David, he went up against the one QB in this league that knew his every weakness, that QB just happened to be the best in the business. So Coach if you're checking this out, the CB position will be fine, but you can think about trying Kaesviharn opposite Harper and sit Bullocks down for a minute, let him think about his job and do he wants to keep it. |

Blacksaint RETURNS...
Wassup boi Agreed on all points! I have been putting the Simoneau thang out since camp. Hopefully Simmons plays on Sun and sparks the D. And hopefully 26 pounds the rock down TB throat. |

Trade Duce lol. That would be interesting and I have been wondering if something is in the works for that. I would hate it. But you and I both know right now Bush by himself in the backfield is a crazy idea.
welcome back blacksaint. hope the move went well. |

Re: Message To Coach Payton
Agreed.
1. Start Simmons, sit Simoneau. 2. Start Kaesviharn at safety, sit Bullocks. (Note: Kaesviharn was the most productive safety last year. Yes, even more productive than Palumalu whatever.) 3. Jason David will be fine with more veteran help on the defense, a-la Brian Simmons and Kaesviharn (who will both already have great chemistry from the Bengals). Let's not forget, Harper hasn't played a full regular season game in like a YEAR. He'll be making plays soon enough. 4. Sit Clancy, start Hollis. Let Hollis and Brian Young catch their breath every now and then with Clancy filling in. It's apparent that no matter how much more Hollis weighs, he just works better in game situations than Clancy. |

Re: Message To Coach Payton
I agree wholeheartedly, especially when it comes to Simmons and Kaesviharn playing.

Re: Message To Coach Payton
The defense was not the problem Thursday, it was the offense. But they will play better from now on. The Colts were not going to lose to anyone that night.

Re: Message To Coach Payton
I hear ya. I know Bellamy is old and slow, but let him make one of his hammer hits on a RB or TE and the D will be set for the rest of the game. Time for Simmons and KK. Bullocks is a good backup and so is Simoneau. they aren't starters and never have shown it.

Re: Message To Coach Payton
And the congregation said: AMEN!!!
I've been beating this same drum for the past month now and it seems I'm not the only one marching to this tune. Anyone who doubts that Simoneau ain't the one needs to watch the film. Chasing ain't the same as tacklin' and getting run over on your heels after a gain of 5 yards ain't stoppin' squat! You got the upgrades on D. Put Simmons in. Its NOT rocket science guys! GEEZ!!! On a more positive note: Roman Harper was like horse sh*t on the farm. He was all over the field! |
