Re: Is Reggie Bush the New Tony Mandarich?
Euph, where did I say that you called Reggie a bust. I never said that! You should take some of your own medicine and not put words in my mouth. The only thing directed to you was that I understand you wanting to build an o-line but D'Brick has been absolutely HORRIBLE and Reggie was the right pick. Anything after that was me ranting about D'Brick and the clown who wrote the article.
And, FYI, the jets offense is ranked 28th, we're ranked 25 this year. The jets offense is horrible and D'Brick isn't doing anything to help them. Mangold was a good pick for them but D'Brick has been a huge bust. I agree that you need a solid o and d-line to win championships but our o-line was good last year and D'Brick wouldn't be starting on this team. |

There will be another tackle in the draft this year, and the year after that and the year after that. 5 years from now though Bush will probably be in the ballpark of LT and Sander. Those players do not come along in the draft every year, or even every other year. Also as much as we probably both as much hate to admit it, it is in fact about more than wins and losses. If we had passed on Bush it would have been a PR disaster for the team. SFIAH |

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good. |

Those guys aren't the top linemen... you wanna settle for mediocre lines and get blasted by top DL. Ok welcome to 0-3 You take a 2-3years and draft first rate - first round linemen. You'll be in more games than not. The game is ment to be played in the trenches.
I mean after all we are doing your way and we are 0-3. |

Re: Is Reggie Bush the New Tony Mandarich?
Euph, that was in the 2nd paragraph. The first paragraph was for you (actually only the first 3 sentences were for you). I made a new paragraph because I was done talking specifically to you. That whole 2nd paragraph was for the clown who wrote the article.
But whatever, I'm just excited/curious to see what he can do as the feature back. Hopefully coming off a bye week we can get the ball rolling. I'm not convinced anyone is going to run away with this division. If we can turn the corner, I think we can make a run at this division. |
