Why does the #2 passing offense in the league (and #1 the year before that) need to acquire a high priced free agent? The offense is in the top 5 is most categories. The defense is in the bottom 10 in most categories. Exactly which one do you really think needs the high priced free agent? Or high level draft pick for that matter? I would swear that folks around here are thinking about their fantasy football teams instead of the actual Saints squad. Now if you had said that you think that we need to acquire Haynesworth (who will be franchised), Samuel (who will have a stratospheric price tag), or Briggs (who I'm not sure can play MLB), then that's a converstation that makes sense. But Johnson? Berrian? Roy Williams? Andre Davis? Or frankly any other offense skill player? It makes no sense to me. Resign your own free agents. Get your draft picks ready to play. Heal your talent. That's all the Saints offense needs to accomplish this offseason. SFIAH |

Re: Ocho Cinco in black and gold
There is a need for an additional star receiver. Colston took a beating last year because he was double covered so often. We need that additional threat. We need a speed guy that can catch. I dont think any team that I have observed in my life has had more wide receivers that cant catch. So if we can get a top tier reciever i say go for it even if he is not a Payton player.
