Definately think they should not keep Him In the backfield. Here is your number 2 reciever and I think He should be returning kick offs and punts also. With Thomas and hopefully McAllister He has no business back there. The hits he has taken and fumbles should be enough to convince the Saints staff to keep him out of the interior line. They need to use Him like Hester in Chi Town

Re: Reggie Bush, the FUTURE?
Do not know what MOST OF you guys see that I don't. I see an undersized athlete not capable of running between the tackles as evidenced by His fumbles. Linemen and Linebackers especialy have laid Him out. What makes you think He can be any better this year He is what He is. Needs to be utilized as a reciever, RetuRn man much as Devin Hester. Want to see Him have a long career KEEP HIM OUT OF THE BACKFIELD

This will take a TRUE RB. If we have terrefic running back to support him, we may just have the BEST OFFENSE in the league again. Reggie will not take as many hits in the flat and force one on one coverage down field. Having him split out creates mismatches at the line of scrimmage for a back like Deuce to exploit. It also keeps pressure off of Drew Brees because it is much harder to blitz to the side where Reggie is. In any case, Reggie is a jem of a player consider:
He missed 4 games last year.... Still in two years he as 2305 yards rushing and receiving and only 5 fumbles lost. If he played in those 4 games, base on the above figures, he would have 2634 yards or 1317 yards per season or 82 yards per game. This doesn't include kickoffs and punt returns. But that's not where his biggest impact is felt. Defenses have to account for him on every play. Reggie most of the reason we have such a great offense because just having him on the field changes the game plan of the defense so much. The key to making Reggie GREAT AGAIN it to have a healthy BIG RUNNING BACK that can take the LOAD OFF of him and FORCE MORE MISMATCHES. The safeties will have to cheat up to the line which will open things up down field for Colston and Henderson. No body else but a RB will FIX THE SAINTS OFFENSE and have the most impact on the team. Duece's career is OVER. Time to move on. We are one player from having the BEST OFFENSE IN THE LEAGUE AGAIN! PASS RUSH AND RUNNING GAME WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS! |
