Careful with this one! Who do YOU think is a \"great coach\" Parcells, Walsh, Landry??? When you answer that question I will ask you if they were \"great coaches\" in their third or fourth year or did it take many more years to become \"a great coach\". No coach comes in and takes over a loosing team and within three years has them a superbowl ring. Gruden will probably be named as a response to that statement but in all honesty he came to a team that was already in place and had a winning record BEFORE he got there. Same can be said for Switzer..all he did was took Jimmy\'s team to another superbowl before he screwed it up. Give Haz time to either climb the latter or fall off the latter. I think 5 years is about right to judge what is what or will be as long as we keep going in the right direction. |
